Files, Saving & Sharing
All project management lives in the Files 💾 tab and the project header panel.
Auto-save (always on)​
The model auto-saves to your browser's local storage ~1.5 s after every edit (Auto-saved ✓ indicator). Reopening the app restores the last session — including after a crash. Auto-save is per browser, per machine: it is a safety net, not a backup.
.psm files (portable model files)​
- 📥 Download .psm — saves the entire model (geometry, libraries, specs, settings, report header) as a single portable file. This is your offline backup and the way to email a model.
- 📤 Open .psm — loads one, replacing the current model (Undo restores the previous one).
Cloud projects (Pro)​
- 💾 Save to Cloud stores the project against your account under its name; the project list below shows all saved projects with Load / ✕ delete.
- The Project Dashboard (from the app header) gives a card view of your cloud projects.
Sharing​
🔗 Generate Shareable Link uploads a snapshot and copies a link; anyone opening it clones the model into their own workspace (they cannot edit yours). Good for review workflows and support questions.

New project​
New resets to a minimal starter model (default section + material, empty geometry) after confirmation. The old model remains available via Undo until you edit.
